The fixation of the superior labrum using
the Punch Needle overlap technique for reattaching torn labral
tissue to bone gives the surgeon excellent results. It is
easy, cheap and quick technique which allows anatomical
reconstruction.

A Punch Needle Guide is passed through the superior portal
medial to the acromion and posterior to the clavicle. Then a
2.4 mm Kirchner wire is passed media/ to the Biceps insertion
through the upper rim of the glenoid posterior to the biceps.

Two holes are made with 2.4 mm Kirchner wire . anterior and
posterior to the Biceps.

The
Aeratec pusher Punch Needle pass the No. 2 sutur through the posterior hole.

The suture is placed with the
Punch-Needle
medial to the rim and pulled with the Chop puller laterally.
5.
The knots are tied with the concave knot driver using a
sliding Niky knot tying technique.
