The suture catcher chop needle placed through the skin, below the
base of the meniscus, through the torn portion. |

The chop catcher is removed and the puller is used to remove the one
end of the suture through the anterior portal. |

|

|
3. |
The lateral suture end is pulled with the chop puller above the
superior surface of the meniscus. |

4. |
The tear is approximated. Another one or more sutures can be
placed. |
